THREAD LIFT (NON SURGICAL)

THREAD LIFT (NON SURGICAL)

A thread lift is a type of procedure wherein temporary sutures are used to “lift” the lax facial skin giving the effect of pulling the skin back slightly thereby lifting and tightening the face. Collagen plays a very vital role in our aging process along with skin texture, tone, quality, its hydration etc. These threads combat aging by provoking the body’s “healing response” and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas.

Who can benefit from Thread Lift?

Thread lift is ideal for people in their late thirties to early fifties, who have busy, demanding careers, old age patients showing mild to moderate signs of skin laxity and older patients who are unfit for surgery for medical reasons (like high blood pressure, type two diabetes, cardiovascular disease etc.)

Cosmetologist/Cosmetic surgeon carefully marks the areas of concern for patients and then plans the vectors accordingly before performing the thread lift to give the desired young look to the patient.

Thread lifts can be performed as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia. A variety of internal sutures or anchored barbed sutures are used to tighten the lax facial tissues.

These threads lift the face only by a few millimeters but produce visible changes with a more subtle and natural looking face.

Precautions following the Procedure–

Do not rub face vigorously while cleansing it or applying moisturizer for at least a week after having threadlift. Avoid rolling over directly onto your face while sleeping.

Advantage- It is one of the most cost-effective methods of non surgical facelift.

Side Effects – some patients may experience a mild irritation, redness or swelling after the procedure but most can return to work immediately.
